Three services a day are currently operational on the Neral – Matheran Mountain railway.

Departure Neral - 8:50 AM and 10:15 AM and 5:05 PM

Departure Matheran - 7:00 AM and 1:40 PM and 4:25 PM
(In addition to the above, they sometimes run an extra service on Saturdays and Sundays. But this is not certain) “

The Neral-Matheran Toy train services are closed for the monsoon period.
Services shut down in June and will re-start sometime in October.

Normally services resume after the monsoon period is over.
(Usually by the second week of October)

Currently the only transport option from Neral to Matheran is by road.
Share a taxi is available as usual.
